"Riddles in Time, once you pick
it up, you can’t put it down! As a 29 year old male, much time had passed since I'd read a fiction
novel. Most of the books I have read recently have been either non-fiction U.S. history, inspirational/religious, or related
to the financial industry. When I was told about this book, I thought it would be fun to read a fiction novel for a change.
Soon after starting, my expectations were exceeded and I was drawn into reading the entire 342-page volume in one week, which
for me is a small miracle.
"Early on in the story, the characters are described in a way as to become easy
to visualize and relate to. Each character's personality is so clearly developed that nearly any reader can identify with
one of them or can compare them with someone they know. This makes the read fun and interesting to follow as the nuances of
the character's personalities are expressed with consistency throughout the various situations they find themselves in.
"In addition to the interesting characters, the interesting circumstances and action packed events make for a
"can't put it down" story. Progressively through the chapters, the story draws you in with captivating scenarios
that hint at historical events, leaving the reader eager to find out more, from both the book and ones own research. The historical
"mix ins" are so convincing that you almost believe that the whole story is a real occurrence.

one of the more valuable aspects of the entire novel is the life lessons that can be gleaned from its pages. Not only is the
story fun to read, but the along the way there are real life social interactions and personal struggles that most anyone can
relate to and learn from. Lessons such as respect and acceptance of others, working as a team, hard work and never giving
up, as well as other interpersonal concepts, will help the reader identify ways to enrich their own perspective on life. In
my personal life interactions and even in my career as a financial advisor, I can see how these subtle lessons can help and
I'm sure that most readers will find this true as they read.

I normally don't order books without knowing someone that has read them first; however, this one sounded intriguing.
In fact, it was far more exciting and fun to read than I expected. Tom McCloud is a very suspenseful and vibrant writer. I
found the variety of appealing characters to be multi-dimensional and believable. It was easy to become emotionally engaged
in their different personalities and plights. The written imagery and diverse locations make you feel as if you are watching
a movie in your mind's eye. I liked that he has a very descriptive and fast-paced style.

of the story was set, I truly enjoyed how he wove a unique and inventive purpose in and around many of the ancient major historical
mysteries we thought we knew so much about. I learned a great deal more about the Sphinx, Easter Island, Stonehenge, The Mayan,
and so many others because of how he wove them so cleverly into the plot that I completely enjoyed the story. I highly recommend
it to anyone looking for a gripping action mystery. The adventure cascades quickly from exploring concealed passages for clues
in a vast museum that soon leads the heroes around the world to overcome huge obstacles set in tropical jungles, deadly arid
regions, and on the high seas that will give you that `on the edge of your seat' feeling.
