NAM - Northwest Assistance
Ministries, is committed to Neighbors Helping Neighbors. Approximately $0.90 of every dollar donated goes to direct
services. Riddles During the last fiscal year, they touched the lives of 120,264 individuals. The Assistance Program served 32,256 people last year
with emergency assistance for basic needs, including: shelter, clothing, transportation, and medicines. Riddlese
The Back to School Project provided 2,758 children with school supplies and clothing,
enabling the students to return to school ready to learn. Riddles The Shelter and Energy Assistance Program distributes
$978,997.00 in assistance to 6,736 homes. This program is geared to prevent homelessness, and to help homeless
families become self-sufficient. Riddles The Children’s Clinic offers primary health care,
office visits, and case management to 7,717 children. Riddles The Meals on Wheels (MOW) program delivers more than
94,500 hot, nutritious meals to homebound seniors and disabled individuals using volunteer drivers. Riddles The Family Violence Center provides crisis intervention,
support groups, adult and children’s counseling, emergency shelter, legal advocacy and education to 2,504 people.
In addition, 11,885 students participate in 399 educational presentations through the Youth Education program. Riddles Tom is a proud partner with NAM, and donated proceeds from his book to them. In
addition to selling Riddles in Time in the NAM store locations, many
other local retail stores are participate in selling these books.
